2000
The seeds for Alpha R Cubed were sewn well before it came into existence. Our founder Steven Goldstein was enrolled into an Executive Coaching programme whilst working as a trader at Commerzbank. This was to be a transformational experience for Steven that was eventually to give life to the idea of dedicated performance development for financial markets people and business
2009
Leaving behind over 20 years working as a trader, Steven chose to pursue a new career to deliver targeted coaching and development to the Financial Markets industry. Steven studied and learned the core principles of coaching, qualifying with a diploma in Executive coaching from the Academy of Executive Coaching.
2012
After a couple of years working as a coach, Steven set-up Alpha R Cubed as a consultancy with the specific aim of improving people development in the Financial Markets industry. Steven felt the industry had never properly focused on developing their people, and that existing firms in this space did not fully understand the needs and nuances of the Financial Market environment.
2015
Within a few short years Alpha R Cubed was serving a range of clients in major Financial Centres across the world. Clients ranged from Investment Banks to Global Hedge Funds, and Asset Management firms to Energy Trading businesses. Alpha R Cubed also engaged in private research into trading personality, the results of which were to have an impact on their Performance Coaching Programmes.
2018
We are now a team of coaches and consultants working on multiple cross organisational projects and leadership development programmes with several major financial institutions. We continue to evolve and expand our services to meet the emerging needs of our clients and the broader industry.
Into the Future: Developing ‘People Alpha’
Creating superior performance in Financial Markets is becoming ever more challenging. Financial Market Businesses are increasingly looking at how they can better utilise and resource their people and develop more productive risk and performance cultures.
